The Virgo new Moon on September 5 will have that official back-to-school energy. Even if we're not actually attending a school per se, we're all in the school of life. It feels like the prim and proper teacher with the perfectly crafted bun held neatly with her pencil is calling us in from the playground and making sure we get back to work.
This is the time to return to your desk, buckle down and deal with all of the paperwork, details, projects, mail and other nitty-gritty that you may have been putting off all summer. This is also the time to plant new seeds for how you would like your daily routine to run. What rituals and regimens would you like to implement over the next six months? Start them now so they have staying power.
Make lots of lists and get very detailed about how you want your daily schedule to play out. Don’t keep it nebulous or undefined while you have this perfect opportunity to get wonderfully neurotic and anal about working it out to your exact specifications. Think of what would most support your wellbeing and health.
What time do you want to go to bed? What time do you want to wake up? What would you like to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? What supplements would support your health? When will you exercise? What are your best hours for productivity? Are you flossing daily? How do you want to unwind at the end of the day? What toxic habits need to be eliminated from your life? These are the kinds of detailed questions you want to be asking yourself under the auspices of the Virgo new Moon.
