You better make your list and check it twice, but it's not because Santa is coming to town (again). We're talking about your New Year's resolutions, the domain of mighty Capricorn. Set aside the list of gifts you plan to return and turn your attention to the life you want to create in 2014.
Capricorn came on the scene at the Winter Solstice on December 21, and the Sun remains there until January 19. Most people put off thinking about positive changes for as long as possible. During the last week of December, we're busy on the sleigh to grandma's house or drinking too much eggnog with coworkers. We've put off the hard work of transformation until the very last second, and have a second helping of tiramisu while we're at it.
But hard work is Capricorn's favorite thing, so don't waste another second procrastinating your most important to-do list of the next 12 months. Who do you want to be in 2014? What habits to you want to banish? What kinds of relationships do your want to build? What brand do you want to launch? How much money do you want to make? What is your idea of perfect health?
Write it all down, in great detail. This year, your resolutions shouldn't read like an ordinary end-of-year or top-10 list. Make them count and plan to manifest them soon. With New Year’s Day and the new Moon in Capricorn coming together in a rare and auspicious union, the most powerful time to write your resolutions is close to January 1.
You're the architect of your life while the Sun is in Capricorn, and you have the ultimate building materials at your disposal. Get those blueprints going -- stat!
